When I first ordered these I think that I got seconds as the boot was all crunched up in the box and the stitching was coming out in the embroidery. I returned them and got another pair. As they were so beautiful I decided to give it another chance. This time they were new and everything that I had hoped for. This is my 2nd pair of Old Gringos. They make the most beautiful boot around. I find that they run true to size so order what you wear normally.

Oh My!These are my first Old Gringo boots and they are truly spectacular! I adore western boots but until now I could not buy Old Gringo because of the price. I can see why they are so expensive as they are truly well-made with gorgeous embroidery. I would expect them to last a lifetime. I got them in the purple and they do fit true to size. However if you have a wide foot or want to wear them with socks you might want to go up a half size as they are not as roomy as some western boots. Also they are not as tall as some western boots which is fine with me but perhaps a really tall woman would like a taller boot.
